So, I made this awesome chicken, portabello mushroom, bacon, brandy thing for dinner and at the last minute I thought "spinach would taste great with this!" Well.. it sure didn't look appetizing. (puree spinach definentley not the way to go..) However, I've discovered a little trick with the kids, they will pretty much have a taste of anything offered off the wood cooking spoon so I give them a little taste and then at dinner its not so strange. I'm going to blame Jessica Sienfeld and her sneaky cooking ways for the demise of this dish. It did taste good though.
